Server Monitor

To use this listserver, you need to configure your Freelancer client or dedicated server once. Edit the following file inside your Freelancer installation directory:

Find the section [ListServer] and set the hostname:

After saving, your server will appear in this list automatically. Launch Freelancer and navigate to Multiplayer → Internet.

1. Open freelancer.ini in Freelancer\EXE\ with any text editor
2. Locate (or create) the [ListServer] section
3. Add the line hostname = gun.rem-freelancer.moe
4. Save the file and restart Freelancer
5. Under Multiplayer, all FL servers will now appear in the server browser

Running your own Freelancer server? The Server Admin Portal is the owner side of this list server. Listing stays automatic and free for everyone — the portal is where you claim your entry and control how it is published.

• Claim your server. Sign in with Discord, generate a short code and put it into your server description. We check it automatically on your next registration — no plugin, no extra restart.
• Advertised IP (FakeIp). Server behind NAT, a VPN or a moving address? Publish the address players should really connect to, while your real IP stays hidden.
• Alerts on your Discord. Get a message when your server goes offline, stops answering the player query or reaches a player peak. Each server can use its own webhook.
• Event history. Registrations, timeouts, outages, name mismatches and ownership changes of your entry — so you can see what actually happened last night.
• Protected entries. Verified servers cannot be hijacked: a known Game ID registering from a different address raises a warning instead of silently replacing your entry.

You do not need the portal to be listed. Every flserver that registers here shows up in the list above, verified or not.
